Role of Patient-facing app in Virtual Hospital Remote Monitoring: a pre-post implementation study (Chief Investigator)

Virtual hospitals deliver hospital-level care for patients at home using digital tools like video calls, online platforms, and remote monitoring technology. Remote monitoring allows healthcare professionals to check in on patients, track their health, and provide care without being co-located with the patient.

In partnership with Sydney Local Health District, Alcidion, and the Digital Health CRC (DHCRC), this project explores whether a patient-facing app can help empower patients, and ease the workload of clinicians involved in remote monitoring during virtual hospital care.
