Starting out as a freelance web developer in Sydney Australia, I quickly fell in love with online systems and the potential of technology. Building on my technical skills, I moved into the design and client side of operations. It was working as a Web Consultant that I was exposed to new and exciting projects, in a variety of industries.

Always wanting to learn more, I went back university. This time in the beautiful Alps of Austria at the University of Innsbruck. Here I expanded my studies of information systems. It was also here I took a course in knowledge management where I found the perfect area to unify my passion of complex systems and the human element.

The study of knowledge management systems provides me with the opportunity to bring together my previous experience in web development, user interface design, consultancy and research into new and exciting territories.

Now I look to the future, to build my own network and resources to further my research and impact in the field of knowledge management.
