Winner of the MQ Incubator award

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations to our AIHI researchers ๐ŸŽ‰

Weโ€™re proud to share that Dr Tim Jackson (Virtual Hospitals) and Dr Sam Sheriff (CircuDX) have won recognition in the Researchers IMPACT Program with the Macquarie University Incubator.

CircuDX is a skin-based liquid biopsy test designed to deliver fewer biopsies, faster answers, and smarter care; while Virtual Hospitals is reimagining care delivery beyond traditional settings.

The IMPACT Program helps researchers turn ideas into reality by exploring pathways to commercialisation through a blended learning experience.

๐Ÿ‘ Well done Tim and Samran for driving innovation in healthcare!

Driving Research from Lab to Real-World Impact

Last week, the Macquarie University Incubator hosted theย Research IMPACT Pitch Final, a showcase of innovative research projects with the potential to create meaningful change beyond the lab. The event brought together a dynamic group of researchers, all pitching their big ideas for a share in $100,000 of funding support.

The evening highlighted not only the depth of talent across Macquarie but also the importance of translating research into tangible outcomes that can solve real-world problems.
